Frequently Asked Questions

What is sleep training, and how can it benefit my child?

Sleep training is the process of helping your baby or child learn to fall asleep and stay asleep independently. At Harmony of Dreams, I use gentle, responsive methods tailored to your child’s development and your parenting style — no “cry-it-out” involved. My goal is better sleep for your little one, and more rest and confidence for you.

No, I do not use the cry-it-out method. My approach is gentle and responsive, always prioritizing your baby’s emotional well-being and your family’s comfort.

While some brief protest or fussing is normal during transitions, you’ll never be asked to leave your child to cry without support. We’ll work together to find an approach that feels respectful and aligned with your parenting values.

Every child is unique. Some families see progress in just a few days, while others may take a few weeks to establish consistent sleep patterns. With your personalized sleep plan and ongoing support, you’ll have the tools you need to make lasting change — at a pace that feels right for you and your child.

Sleep regressions are a normal and healthy part of your baby’s development — often brought on by milestones, teething, illness, or travel. During our time together, I’ll provide you with the tools and confidence to handle these phases calmly and effectively.

If you need extra support down the road, you’re always welcome to reconnect! I offer follow-up services you can book at any time, and you can also explore my downloadable sleep guides for quick, affordable solutions tailored to common challenges.

Bonus: If you’ve earned referral rewards, you can use them anytime toward additional support — like a day of texting, or a personalized consultation.

Every family is different — and your sleep plan should be too. I create fully customized sleep plans based on your child’s age, temperament, sleep history, and your parenting style. There are no one-size-fits-all methods here — just support that truly fits your family.

Yes! I support a wide range of sleep concerns, including night wakings, early morning rising, short naps, bedtime battles, sleep regression and more. Whether you’re dealing with one issue or several, we’ll get to the root of it and work through it together.

I support families with children from newborn to school-age (typically up to age 6). Whether you’re laying the foundation early or resetting sleep with an older child, I tailor my approach to your family’s unique needs.

Yes! I offer special pricing for families working on sleep with multiple children, as well as returning clients who come back for future support. Just mention this during your discovery call, and I’ll share the discount details.

Yes! I truly appreciate it when families share their experience with Harmony of Dreams, and I love giving back in return. When you refer a friend who books a sleep package, you’ll receive one referral reward, and your friend will receive a $50 gift certificate toward their full-service sleep package.
As the referrer, you get to choose your thank-you:

  • One personalized video or phone consultation
  • One full day of text or email support
  • Or a gift card from a popular retailer like Starbucks or Amazon

You can bank your rewards and use them anytime — there’s no expiration and no limit to how many you can earn. Just make sure your friend mentions your name when booking!

Yes! As a bonus for investing in full sleep support, you’ll receive a 10% discount code to use on any downloadable guides in my shop. Your code is valid for 30 days after your support package ends — perfect for continued learning or sharing with caregivers.

Yes! Once you purchase a sleep support package, you’ll hear back from me within 24 hours. I only take on a small number of clients at a time so I can give each family my full focus and support throughout our time together.

Absolutely! I work with families around the world, and time zones are never a problem. I’m based in Canada and typically available from 7am to 10pm EST, so I can support you during wake-ups, nap times, and bedtime—no matter where you are.

My services are designed for little ones from birth up to 6 years old. Whether you’re starting with a newborn, working through sleep regressions, or supporting a toddler who’s resisting bedtime, I’ll tailor the plan to fit your child’s age and stage.

I’m a Certified Pediatric Sleep Consultant, trained through the Institute of Pediatric Sleep and Parenting (IPSP). I also hold a degree in Business with a minor in Child Psychology. My background helps me combine evidence-based sleep strategies with a deep understanding of child development and family dynamics. Learn more about me.

Not at all. My approach is gentle and responsive — never harsh or “cry it out.” We work together to build sleep habits that support your baby’s emotional needs and your connection as a family. My goal is to strengthen your bond, not disrupt it.

Because each plan is custom-built and includes hands-on support, packages are non-refundable. However, I’m fully committed to your success. I adjust the plan based on how your baby responds and guide you every step of the way. Most families who follow the plan consistently do see meaningful improvements in sleep.
